The "Mondo Digitale" Foundation

The Mondo Digitale Foundation works for an inclusive knowledge society by blending innovation, education, inclusion and fundamental values. The benefits that comes out from knowledge, new technologies and innovation should be an advantage of all people without any kind of discrimination.

In its mission, "Education contains knowledge, skills, competences and learning at all levels and contents, in formal or informal institutional settings and for life – very much related to what has become known as 21st century skills, i.e., those skills necessary for successful human development in the knowledge society. The borders between education and innovation are completely porous insofar as knowledge, skills, competences and learning are fundamental to innovation processes, in the same way as creativity and research belong to both, and innovation is fundamental to the evolution of education towards 21st century skills".

Following the successful and productive cooperation between the School of Robotics and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale in the frame of the Robodidactics Project, the two Associations have signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of Educational Robotics and with the Sapienza University of Rome (Prof. Daniele Nardi). The core of this Agreements pivots around the well known event of the annual RomeCup, the tournament of student robotics teams (Soccer, Rescue, Dance).
