Do you still go to school but you already have the makings of a maker? Do you have something really creative and innovative in mind and would you like to show it to the audience of Maker Faire Rome 2019? Here is the Call for you!
The schools whose applications will be accepted will be able to participate for free in the Maker Faire 2019, with a table and chairs in one of the pavilions of the Fiera di Roma which will be filled for the occasion with visitors, curious, makers from all over the world to know you.
The Call for Schools is open to secondary schools belonging to European Union countries (students aged 14-18).
A jury of experts will select the most innovative projects that will be hosted during the Maker Faire Rome 2019 within an area entirely dedicated to schools.
The Maker Faire wants to give space to the creativity of young people - the real and incredible wealth of our country - and enhance the constant commitment and dedication of all the teachers who daily contribute to shining qualities and qualities of all the students, through initiatives, projects and innovative educational programs
Participating in the Maker Faire Rome means lots of visibility, lots of contacts, lots of cultural enrichment and lots of fun too. All the selected projects will be known by the general public, by national and international newspapers, radio and televisions and also by financiers and venture capitalists.
The main topics are: Robotics, IOT & Electronics, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Intelligent Mobility & Drones, Circular Economy, Agriculture 4.0, Aerospace and Education.
