Have you ever heard someone say about a girl, “She’s just not cut out for math”—or for physics or science?
With the EITIC-EU project, we challenge that stereotype.
EITIC-EU promotes access to STEAM careers for girls aged 10 to 16, encouraging them to follow their dreams and pursue their ideas. By highlighting successful female role models, the project fosters a culture of entrepreneurship and social innovation through technology.
The project actively challenges stereotypes with positive messages that break down gender bias and promote inclusivity.
By showcasing diverse women who can serve as role models—women who have overcome bias and challenges in traditionally male-dominated careers—EITIC-EU collects, through focus groups, the experiences and insights of educators and women working in STEM fields to develop hands-on educational paths.
The results of EITIC-EU’s activities will include a handbook featuring analyses of the focus groups conducted with teachers from the partner countries, as well as interviews with selected female role models. Additionally, the project will produce educational resources that promote STEAM careers, showcasing female role models and best practices.
