MEET Milan: workshops for children and families on animal intelligences, in sync with the “Other Intelligences” exhibition.

MEET Milan and Scuola di Robotica present thematic workshops for children and teens, taking place alongside the Other Intelligences exhibition.

WHERE: Milan, MEET Digital Culture Center

Viale Vittorio Veneto, 2, 20124 Milan (MI)

WHAT: Thematic workshops for kids and teens on animal intelligences and AI.

BIO-INSPIRED ROBOTICS — ZOO-TECH

30 November 2025 – 3:00 PM | Ages 6–10

In this workshop, participants will discover how creativity and technological development can emerge from imitating living organisms.

Using LEGO® Education SPIKE Prime, students will work in teams to build and program a robot capable of reproducing an animal behavior. Block-based programming will allow them to bring movements and interactive reactions to life, experiencing firsthand the connection between biological observation and technological invention.

The activity offers an opportunity to reflect on how nature can inspire new forms of artificial intelligence and robotics. It’s an experience that weaves together science, creativity, and imagination, showing how other intelligences can become a key to designing the future.

GAME LAB – Code Your Videogame

30 November 2025 – 4:30 PM | Ages 8–12

Inspired by the game-design logic introduced by several installations featured in the Other Intelligences exhibition, participants will be invited to experience firsthand the power of video games as narrative and creative tools.

After a brief introduction to the role technologies have played over time in transforming the ways we communicate and imagine stories, the children will use an intuitive block-based programming language to create their own videogame: they will choose characters, settings, rules, and challenges, programming interactions and actions until they build a small, playable digital world.

In dialogue with the artwork and videogame The Alluvials, participants will explore how videogames can become a universal language for addressing complex themes and offering new perspectives, stimulating creativity, computational thinking, and initiative.
