“Transcultural Robots in Health and Social Care”

Genoa, Italy, 26 September 2022 – 9.30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On Monday, 26 September 2022, from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the course “Transcultural Robots in Health and Social Care” will be presented in the Di.M.I. Conference Room, Department of Internal Medicine and Medical Specialities Building 5 (Ex DIMI), Viale Benedetto XV, 6, 16132 Genova.

The course is dedicated to non-robotics experts: nurses, teachers, assistants, tutors, people supporting the elderly and people with disabilities.

The day is aimed at introducing participants to the use of robots in health and social care and at presenting the free online Erasmus+ course “Transcultural Robots in Health and Social Care” that will start on 3 October 2022.

During the presentation, talks by experts in robotics or health will be offered, successful examples in the field of care robotics will be discussed, moments will be organised to collect and explore questions from the audience, and the robots Pepper and NAO (humanoid robots from Aldebaran and SoftBank Robotics) and Spot (robot dog from Boston Dynamics) will be shown live.
